Nestled by an Arizona mountain stream, this Columbine greeted the afternoon sun with a showy display of light and shadow.
Petal Portraits Notecards are 5” x 7” when folded and include an envelope. The images were made using only natural sunlight with minimal retouching. The cards are printed on paper that is designed to show off the vibrant colors on the outside and have a surface on the inside you can easily write on.
Each card is printed individually by the photographer and inspected prior to packaging and shipment.
The banks of the mountain streams of Arizona are home to the cheerful yellow Columbine. They grow on a tall vine, with several flowers all welcoming the sun and the water. The architecture of this flower is akin to a starship, with the thrusters in the back and probes out front. It is a welcome sight for the hiker and angler as it is a beautiful mountain summer companion.
