It is not hard to imagine there is a black hole in the center of this Petunia, drawing all color into itself. You can barely see the head of a “survivor” peeking over the edge.
Petal Portraits Notecards are 5” x 7” when folded and include an envelope. The images were made using only natural sunlight with minimal retouching. The cards are printed on paper that is designed to show off the vibrant colors on the outside and have a surface on the inside you can easily write on.
Each card is printed individually by the photographer and inspected prior to packaging and shipment.
In the American Southwest it is hard to find a flower more representative of Spring than the Petunia. Easily grown by novice gardeners and landscapers, it is seen in pots, hanging baskets and in the ground, where is can be planted as a field of all one color, or a riotous blend of the many colors and patterns that are available. When studied close-up, tiny sticky hairs seemingly by the millions, cover the stems and buds where they gather the sunlight.
